家いえへ帰かえる

Returning Home

アレックスは家いえに帰かえります。「ただいま。」

Alex goes home. “I’m back.”

「おかえりなさい。今日きょうはどうでしたか。」さくらさんが聞ききます。

“Welcome home. How was today?” Sakura asks.

「会議かいぎがあって、コピーをしたり、メールを読よんだりしました。昼ひるはカレーを食たべました。夜よるは同僚どうりょうと居酒屋いざかやへ行きました。」

“We had a meeting, and I did things like make copies and read emails. At lunch, I ate curry. In the evening, I went to an izakaya with coworkers.”

さくらさんは笑わらいます。「もう日本にほんの会社かいしゃになれてきていますね。」

Sakura laughs. “You’re already getting used to Japanese company life.”

「はい。でも、まだむずかしい言葉ことばは分わかっていません。」

“Yes. But I still don’t understand difficult words yet.”

ふたりはテレビを見みて、おちゃを飲のみます。

The two of them watch TV and drink tea.

夜よるになって、アレックスはベッドに入はいります。「おやすみなさい。」

As night comes, Alex gets into bed. “Good night.”

「おやすみ。」さくらさんも言いいます。

“Good night,” Sakura also says.
